I'm about to replace the copper washer seal on the injector. It's the Delphi injector found on the Euro 5 engine. Got the injector out after some hassle. Injector is held in with a retainer bracket, which is bolted into the head with a long bolt. My question is what torque to set the bolt, and is it a stretch bolt, needing a new one each time.
So my mondeo cut out a few weeks back and had AA come recover it guy tells me its the injectors. Being a bit skeptic i did my research first and got a leak off test done. I found injector 4 to be completely over and 3 not far behind so got the injectors out and swapped in some new ones.
